March 10, 2010 Boy's spring club In-House program for ages 8 - 15. Find out more on the 2010 Club info link Hello! We are extremely excited about the opportunity to have
a boy's team again, and have made a tournament schedule for our Boy's 18
and under 2009/10 season! Tournaments will all be in the Chicago area. The dates
are: November
21 December
6 January
9 or 10 February
14 February
21 We are also looking into possible collegiate club
tournaments. Since these are not ‘solidified’ yet, the cost is not factored
into the tuition. Practice is twice a week for two hours, plus 1/2 hour
of speed/agility/core training. Since the first tournament is rapidly
approaching, we'd like to start practice the week of November 9; season
will run November 9 to February 21! At this point, we definitely have enough interest for
a boy's 18's team, but there are also many younger players who'd love to be
involved on a team, so hopefully we can also field a 14 and under team! (The
tournament dates for the younger team will be determined as soon as we know
who/how many players. Even if we don't get enough younger players, we'd still
like to have practices and 'in-house' scrimmages with our other club teams!)
All practices are at our facility. We are able to get this (these) teams into our program
guide, so players can take part in our fundraiser, which is selling ads for the
program guide. Tuition for this 18 and under boy's team is $650 for
the winter season, and is payable in the following monthly installments: November
$200 December
$175 January
$150 February
$125 Tuition for the 14 and under will be determined based
on the number of players committed to playing on the team. We are having a parents meeting next Monday, November
9 at 6:30 for all interested families (boy’s 10-18!). We'll go over everything
more in depth and this is the time to ask questions. Practice days and
times will be set up at this meeting, so bring your calendars! Please let me
know that you are coming to the meeting so we can plan accordingly. As always, if you know anyone who might be interested in being a
part of either team, please pass this information along! The more guys we get
playing volleyball, the better!! Thanks, Michelle Vander Meer Head Coach Carpe Diem Volleyball michelle@carpediemvb.org |
