Extras:
• Once again, our club teams are taking part in a community service project by collecting food and supplies for the Humane Society of West Michigan! Michelle and the kids volunteer there 3 days a week and have an awesome time with the animals, staff and potential adopters! They see first hand the needs of this organization and hope the entire volleyball community will help in ANY way they can! Last year, we only asked for dry dog and cat food and collected almost 2,000 pounds!! This year, the list is broader to meet the growing needs of the animals of West Michigan: Dry Dog Food Dry Cat Food (We do have a greater need for cat food as most of our donations are for dogs.)
Wet Dog Food Wet Cat Food (We do have a greater need for cat food as most of our donations are for dogs.) Treats for cats and dogs Toys Collars Hand Sanitizer (used by all volunteers and staff before and after contacting any animal!) Scrub shirts (one used for each animal contacted, with 3 of us there possibly contacting 23 animals each time, that’s 69 scrub shirts in 2 hours just for us!) Cash donations (to be used to purchase food)
Please bring any donations to Carpe Diem between now and February 9!

• Help fill up the facility: renting out courts for parties, running basketball teams, bringing in inspirational speakers, exercise/Pilates classes, AAU tournaments, and eventual tutoring programs/after school programs and Bible studies, along with the ‘normal' stuff we do! If you have ANY other ideas for us, please let us know! We need to keep this place filled for financial reasons, but we also desire to use it to help the community! If you are interested in renting out the facility, please contact David .
Blessing’s to you, David and Michelle Vander Meer
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8
